Magic Receipts are your ticket to turning mundane shopping trips into money back in your pocket—and you can do it right within the HighRewards app!

Here’s how it works:

Browse and select products. Check out the app to see which products will earn you points. Add the ones you like to your shopping list.
Shop in participating stores. Head to any qualified store and buy your selected items.
Upload your receipt. Once you’ve made your purchase, snap a photo of your receipt and upload it via the HighRewards app.
Be patient! Our team works fast, but reviewing your submissions could take up to 10 days.
Get your points. Cha-ching! If your receipt is verified, the points will be added to your app balance located in the “My stash” tab.

Dispensary receipts vs. Magic Receipts

f you couldn’t tell, we love rewarding you for shopping in stores, but the process for earning those points depends on the type of receipt. The main difference between dispensary receipts and Magic Receipts is where you submit them in the app.

Dispensary receipts must be submitted in the “Dispensary detail” screen instead of Magic Receipts.

It’s super easy: Tap the “Receipts” icon and snap a full photo of your receipt right there.

Check the app regularly

Make it a habit to check the HighRewards app before you head to the store.

We continuously update you with new and exciting deals, so keep an eye on which products offer the most points!

Create a shopping list

Create a detailed shopping list once you’ve browsed the app and selected the products you want to buy. Organize your list by store and category to make your shopping trip more efficient, and double-check any requirements before you buy.

For example, sometimes you must purchase two of an item to be awarded the points. This ensures you don’t miss out on products that earn you points.

Choose qualified stores

Magic Receipts work only at qualified stores, but don’t worry: We make it easy to find which stores partner with us so you won’t be disappointed later.

Plan your shopping route

Plan your route in advance if you need to visit multiple stores to get the best deals.

This saves time and ensures you don’t miss any point-earning opportunities. Group stores that are close to each other to minimize travel time and maximize efficiency.

Look for stackable offers

Some products may have stackable offers, meaning you can combine manufacturer coupons and store discounts to save even more money when you shop. Some offers may give more points for bulk purchases. If it’s a product you use regularly, consider buying in larger quantities.

Submit your receipts ASAP

After completing your shopping, promptly submit your receipts through the HighRewards app. Make sure the receipts are clear and legible to avoid rejection. Remember, receipts must be submitted within seven days of purchase.

Pro tip: Look for special seasonal offers with higher points during holidays or promotional periods!

Magic Receipt rejected? Here's why

We get it; no one likes rejection. But sometimes, receipts might not pass the validation process.

Here are some common reasons why:

We can’t read your receipt. Maybe the photo is blurry or unclear, or you didn’t upload the entire receipt.

To avoid this issue, make sure to submit a clear image and capture all parts of the receipt. You can photograph the receipt in sections to add the whole thing (which is great for those huge shopping trips!).
We’re seeing double. Any receipts submitted more than once will be rejected.
Deadline is up. Receipts must be submitted within seven days of purchase. Double-check the date on your receipt before uploading.
Your account is new. We can only give you points for receipts dated after you created your HighRewards account.
Stores don’t match. The receipt needs to match the store for which it was submitted. Ensure the store name on your receipt matches the selected store in the app.
