Frequently Asked Questions

HighRewards is the first cannabis consumer focused retail rewards app that empowers people to make money by engaging and sharing their data. HR in return gives points that can be redeemed for gift cards.

Here are a series of videos to watch that explore features within the HighRewards app.

 

It’s easy to start earning points and cashing in! There are various ways that include but are not limited to, daily app opens, answering surveys, uploading receipts, checking-in to store locations, and even playing games. All the ways to earn can be accessed through the main earn tab.

Please be sure to upload receipts immediately to ensure that the current offer is awarded. Receipts submitted after an offer is expired or not in the app any longer may not be granted points.

Click on the “My Stash” tab, where you can see your progress toward your gift card goal. Once you reach enough points to redeem for the value you selected, you click the “Redeem Reward.” Once you click, you will see a confirmation screen where you can redeem or change your reward selection and corresponding amount. Important note: Once you confirm and fully redeem your points that CANNOT be refunded. Please be sure of what you want to redeem for prior to redemption confirmation.

In order to activate on the platform you will need to reach a minimum of points that will be stated in the “Invite” tab and in the invitation sent to the invitee. These point levels will be subject to change. The points to be earned through the various activities referenced above in the “How do I earn points?” section.

To get check-in points at participating stores, just open the app and walk into the store. Your device will pick up our signal near the entrance and reward you with points. If that does not immediately occur, you can click the “check-in” button.

Before you head into the store, make sure:

 

    • You are connected via a strong cell/data or wi-fi signal.
    • Your location services are “on.”

 

If you don’t get kicks right away, try the “3 Rs”:

 

  1. Refresh: Always refresh the store page before walking in. Tap the “Earn” tab, pull down on the main store list and release to update.
  2. Restart: If it’s still not working, try restarting your device inside the store and then re-opening the app. This can help jumpstart the signal receptor.
  3. Reinstall: If you’re having issues regularly, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This can provide the most up-to-date location information and help with check-ins.


Additional solutions:

To ensure that you receive points for your check-ins, please follow these steps to update your settings:

 

  1. Enable Location Services: Make sure that your device’s location services are turned on.
  2. Set Location Permissions: Ensure that HighRewards app has permission to access your location. You can set this to either “Always” or “While Using the App” in your device settings.
  3. Check App Settings: Within the HighRewards app, navigate to Settings and verify that location tracking is enabled.


Once you’ve updated these settings, please try checking in again at our store. If you continue to experience issues, please send an email to [email protected] with the following information:

 

  1. Your Full Name:
  2. Date of the Attempted Check-In:
  3. Address or Name of the Store Location:
  4. Any additional details or screenshots that may help us troubleshoot the issue.

If you are having trouble locating your gift card email, here are a few potential reasons/solutions:

1. It can take 24-48 hours to deliver the email.

2. Check your Spam/Junk Folder

3. Search for: HighRewards <[email protected]>

4. Make sure the email you’ve associated with your account is correct.

 

If none of these resolve the issue, please submit a ticket to our customer service team and we will work to promptly resolve your issue!

Your settings can be navigated to by clicking the “gear” icon in the upper right corner of your “My Stash” tab.

From there you will have access to update your opt-ins like location, push notifications, and SMS. Further you can logout and get help there!

 

 

 

Unfortunately, we will only reward the amount listed in the app for receipts after you have created an account. Further receipts will be valid for 7 days. Make sure to upload all your dispensary receipts promptly!

YES! You absolutely can. You can go into our “Magic Receipts” tab on the main earn screen and search retailers and the products that they are awarding points for. Once they accept the receipt, you will receive your HighRewards points! Be patient as they may take a few days to approve officially.

 
We understand the importance of ensuring a smooth experience with our rewards program and apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered.

After reviewing your submission,  there could be an issue with the receipt validation due to one of the following reasons:

  1. Receipt Not Readable: It seems that the receipt you submitted was not readable. In such cases, we kindly ask you to resubmit a clear photo or scan of your receipt for validation.
  2. Duplicate Submission: Our records indicate that the receipt you submitted has already been processed. Please ensure that you haven’t previously submitted this receipt for validation.
  3. Date Out of Range: Unfortunately, the date on the receipt is not within the allotted 7 days of purchase for validation. We recommend submitting receipts within the specified timeframe to qualify for rewards.
  4. Receipt Preceded Account Creation: The receipt you provided predates the creation of your account with us. To ensure successful validation, please submit receipts that correspond to purchases made after your account was created.
  5. Store Mismatch: The receipt provided does not match the store for which it was submitted. Please ensure that the receipt corresponds to the correct store location for validation.

If none of the above reasons apply to your situation, we kindly ask you to fill in the form on our support page and, please attach a clear picture of the receipt and provide any relevant description or details. Our dedicated support team will investigate the matter promptly and aim to resolve it within 10 business days.
 There are two possible scenarios for this:

  1. Not Registered with HighRewards: The dispensary may not be registered as an eligible partner with HighRewards. In this case, they would need to become a registered partner to be included in our app.

  2. Partner with us!

  3. Outdated Information: Alternatively, the information for this dispensary in our app may need updating. We can add them to our app if they are indeed an eligible partner.

To assist you further, please provide us with the following details:
  • Name of the Dispensary:
  • Address of the Dispensary:

Once we receive this information, our team will review and take appropriate action within 5-10 business days.

There are a few reasons why this might be the case:

  1. Pending Verification: Some points may be pending verification. This typically occurs when you’ve completed an action that earns you points, but our system is still in the process of verifying the activity. Once verified, these points will be added to your account.
  2. Pending Transaction Confirmation: Points may also be pending due to transaction confirmation. For example, if you’ve made a purchase at one of our partner stores, there might be a delay in confirming the transaction before the associated points are credited to your account.
  3. Pending Review: In some cases, points might be pending while our team reviews certain activities or transactions for compliance with our terms and conditions. Once the review is complete, any eligible points will be added to your account.
  4. Technical Issues: Occasionally, points may be pending due to technical issues or system updates. Rest assured, our team is working diligently to resolve any such issues and ensure that your points are credited correctly.

 

We understand the importance of timely point crediting and want to assure you that we’re actively monitoring the situation to ensure that your points are processed as quickly as possible.

There are multiple reasons points may not be rewarded:

  • Receipts: refer to above in the FAQ: “Why did my receipt get rejected?”
  • Surveys, Daily Receipts, Video Views, Game Downloads
    • We use a third party partner that has various fraud and eligibility requirements, if they detect an issue points will not be issued or may be taken back. We all do our best to ensure that all participation is fair and legal for all parties involved. 
    • If you feel that this was done in error please contact [email protected].
  • Check-ins: Please refer to the FAQ: “How do I get my check-in points?”

 

Great question! There are two distinct ways to earn points from your receipts:

 

    1. Traditional Dispensary Receipt.
        • Click the “Receipt” button on the store you are submitting for and take a picture!

       

 

  1. Magic Receipts for other types of stores.
    • Click “Magic receipts”
    • Look for the store or items you are interested in.
    • Select the items you bought.
    • Submit receipt!

     

Dispensary receipts need to be submitted from the dispensary location “receipt” button. That will launch your camera to take a pic! Magic receipts are for receipts from non-dispensary stores and products. You can browse stores or products to see where and what points you can earn following those steps.
HighRewards is better with friends! You’ll get a 5,000-point bonus (equal to $5) when your referrals earn their first 1,000 points. The points will automatically be added to “My Stash” when that happens. Your friend will also get an extra 5,000 points!

Surveys are an easy way to sit back and earn a ton of points! Make money while on the train to work or lounging on the couch watching Netflix.

 

  1. Go to iPhone settings.
  2. Click Privacy & Security
  3. Click Tracking
  4. Toggle “on” the app downloaded to allow.
  5. Go “Back” to Privacy & Security.
  6. Scroll down to “Apple Advertising”
  7. Toggle “On.”

Our partner needs access to track your progress in order to award points. 

Our points are time sensitive and will only redeem point amounts in the app within 7 days of the receipt date. There are no guaranteed points given if the receipt is more than 7 days old.

We really love when you submit receipts, but per our terms of use, we cannot award points or may (at our discretion) award points at a reduced rate if the receipts do not meet the following criteria:

  • Receipt is more than seven (7) days old.
  • Receipt is not unique to the user.
  • Multiple receipts from the same store, the same day.
  • Employee receipts.
  • Receipts that are less than $10 in value.

If you received this message, your account was Identified as fraudulent or has violated our terms of service. Some common reasons your account may have been suspended could be the following:

– Multiple accounts for the same user.

– Repeated violations of our terms of service.

– Not in the United States where we legally operate.

– Fraudulent account creation.

If you believe this was done in error, we can review further, but may require more evidence and information.
